TOFFEE BARS

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

4 Hershey bars
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Grease cookie sheet. Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Mix ingredients in order. Spread batter into cookie sheet. Bake 10- 15 minutes.

Apply Hershey bars while warm to melt and then sprinkle nuts over top. Cut into squares.
