BANANA-RASPBERRY BREAD 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas (or 3 med.)
1/2 c. quick Quaker oats
1/2 c. pecans
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raspberries

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and banana. In separate bowl combine oats, pecans, flour, soda, salt and raspberries. Stir gently. Add raspberry mixture to creamed mixture until moist. Pour into well greased and floured 9'x5"x3" bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan then remove from pan.
