1 pkg. vanilla cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
4 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 (10 oz.) 7 Up

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Beat 3 minutes. Bake 3 (8 inch) cake pan or 2 (9 inch) pans. Bake for 40 minutes at 325 degrees.

GRANDMA KELLY'S 7UP ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2 1/2 tbsp. crushed pineapple
1 can coconut (small flakes) optional

Combine and cook until thick about 10 minutes. Pour over cake, serves warm or cold.
