SHORT CUT CHILI CON CARNE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (16 oz.) kidney beans
Garlic powder
Tabasco sauce

Brown beef. Pour off excess fat. In slow cooker, mix meat with onion, salt, chili powder, bay leaf, etc. Cook, covered, on high 2 to 3 hours. Remove bay leaf. Makes 6 to 7 servings.
