SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1 c. light or dark corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pastry. Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, and syrup. Stir in nuts or sprinkle on top. Pour into pie shell (uncooked). Bake 40 to 50 minutes until filling is set. Good!
