EASY VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. sliced carrots
1/4 c. uncooked regular rice
5 beef bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. onion, chopped
15 oz. can kidney beans
1 c. celery, sliced
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
3 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1 c. frozen green beans

Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in Dutch oven until beef is browned. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except green beans. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 40 minutes. Add green beans. Continue simmering 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Basic recipe makes 3 quarts.
