FESTIVE SWEET POTATOES 
6 medium sweet potatoes
sugar, honey, or agave syrup, to taste
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 c. bourbon whiskey
1 c. hot milk (100% whole milk)
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
marshmallows (on top)

Peel and boil potatoes until fork tender. Drain and mash thoroughly. Add hot milk, sugar, melted butter, nuts, salt and whiskey. Put in greased casserole or baking dish with marshmallows on top.

Bake at 325°F until the marshmallows are golden brown (about 30 minutes).

Serves 8.
