MEAT BALLS WITH RICE AND
TOMATOES
 
3 c. cooked tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 c. water
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 egg
1 c. uncooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste

Put tomatoes, onions and water in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Combine ground beef, egg, uncooked rice, salt and pepper. Mix well and form into balls. Add to tomato mixture and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
