WHOLE WHEAT - APPLESAUCE BREAD 
1 c. raisins
2 env. dry yeast
1/3 c. warm water
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2-4 tbsp. honey
2 c. warm applesauce
3-3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2-3 c. whole wheat flour

Plump raisins in hot water for 5 minutes, then drain and dry. Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl of mixer. Add salt, cinnamon, honey, applesauce and raisins. Follow mixing instructions for Basic White Bread recipe, adding all- purpose flour first. Add the whole wheat flour for the second addition of flour, then proceed as instructed, using all-purpose flour for kneading. Yield: 2 loaves.
