APPLESAUCE BREAD 
1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. pecans

Combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients together. Stir into applesauce mixture; beat well. Fold in pecans. Turn into loaf pan. Add topping:

TOPPING:

1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (may take longer). Remove from pan. Cool on rack.
