BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour, unsifted
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 heaping tsp. baking soda
1 c. Crisco oil
Dash of salt
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all together in a bowl. Add 1 cup boiling water. Mix and pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until tested done.

ICING:

1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to a boil over a low heat and add 1/2 box confectioners' sugar.
