POTATO ONION BAKE 
2 1/2 lbs. potatoes, pared & sliced
1 c. thinly sliced onion
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
1/8 tsp. thyme, crushed

To bake, preheat oven to 450 degrees. Layer potatoes and onions in a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Pour butter mixture over vegetables. Cover and bake 50 to 60 minutes until vegetables are tender.
