BAKED POTATOES WITH ONION 
2 lbs. potatoes, peeled and sliced (5 or 6 med. potatoes)
Sliced bacon
1 lb. onions, peeled and sliced (3 or 4 med. onions)
Salt and pepper

Grease baking dish. Put in layer of potatoes, then a layer of onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Continue to alternate layers until all the potatoes and onions are used. Put 4 or 5 slices of bacon or any kind of fat meat across top. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
