LIME BROILED CHICKEN 
1/2 c. lime juice
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 onion, quartered
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
4 chicken breast halves, skinned
Lettuce leaves and lime slices for garnish

Combine lime juice, garlic, onion, basil in a small dish. Pour over chicken breasts. Cover and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes, turning once. Place chicken on rack in broiler pan (reserve marinade) and broil 5 to 6 inches from heat source for 15 minutes, basting twice with reserved marinade. Turn chicken and repeat. Chicken is cooked when it is brown and juices run clear when meat is pierced. May also grill chicken. Yield: 4 servings.
