KART WHEEL COOKIES 
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. milk
1 cup pie filling (or jam), any flavor

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Mix flour, butter, confectioners' sugar, baking powder and milk until dough forms.

Divide dough into 6 equal parts. Shape each part into ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.

Make an indention 1 3/4-inches in diameter about 3/4-inch deep in center of each flattened ball. Fill each indention with about 2 tablespoons of pie filling.

Bake at 375°F until edges begin to brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Makes 6 cookies.
