6 slices bacon
8 c. leaf lettuce, torn in bite size pieces
3/4 c. sliced green onion

Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble, reserving drippings. Mix lettuce, onion, and bacon in large bowl and salt to taste. Reheat drippings and pour over lettuce and toss to coat.
