2 1/2-4 lb. chuck roast
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Put meat in large piece of heavy foil. Spread soup mix over meat. Wrap foil in double fold so meat is completely covered. Place in shallow roasting pan. Roast at 300 degrees for 3-3 1/2 hours. Optional: A few potatoes, carrots, onions can be enclosed with meat. Juice makes a good gravy.
