CHOCOLATE - COVERED FRUIT 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins or dates, figs (peanuts may also be used)

Pour water in bottom part of double boiler and heat to boiling. Put chips in top boiler and let melt. When melted, dip fruit in chocolate. Place on a greased cookie sheet.
