BUTTER NUT BARS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts

Combine flour, brown sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in bowl. Cut in 1/3 cup butter until particle are fine. Press into ungreased 8 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Put morsels, corn syrup, 1 tablespoon butter, water, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in double boiler. Cook over boiling water until melted and smooth. Spread on over cookie base. Bake 8-10 minutes until bubbling and browned. Cool. Cut into bars.
