6 med. apples, Stayman or Golden Delicious
1/2 c. sugar, white or brown
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 stick butter

Put apples in baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon on top. Bake at 425 degrees until tender. Very nice served with vanilla ice cream. This can be done in microwave for 12 minutes. This recipe is very nice done with peaches, in season.
