STUFFED BELL PEPPERS MICROWAVE | |
4 lg. peppers 1/4 c. water 1 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 c. Beef Rice-A-Roni cooked 1 tbsp. parsley 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided Wash peppers, remove tops and seeds. Place upright in 2 quart casserole. Pour water over bottom and cook, covered on high 2 minutes. Drain water and let stand while preparing filling. Crumble beef into glass bowl, add onion and cook on high 4 minutes or until meat loses color, stirring once. Drain fat, stir in garlic, rice, parsley and 1/2 cup tomato sauce. Fill peppers, top with sauce. Cook covered on high 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. |
