MAGIC BISCUITS 
5 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in 3 to 4 tablespoons lukewarm water. Stir buttermilk and yeast mixture into flour mixture; mix well. Place in oiled bowl; refrigerate until ready to use. Shape into biscuits, place on baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until done. It is not necessary to let biscuits rise before baking. If you will use white lily and Crisco they will turn out better.
