BARBECUED BEANS | |
1 lb. bacon, cut up and fried 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 2 (15 oz.) cans white navy beans (drained) 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. barbecue sauce 1 envelope onion soup mix Brown meat, drain fat. Combine with bacon, mix beans, brown sugar, barbecue sauce and onion. Mix. Pour into 2 1/2-quart casserole. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. NOTE: You can saute a large onion instead of soup mix if you don't like soup mix flavor. |
