QUICK CHERRY ANGEL DESSERT 
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 egg yolks
3 oz. cream cheese
1 loaf (or 1/2 lg. round) angel food cake
1 can cherry (or other) pie filling
1/2 pt. whip cream (or Cool Whip)

Beat first 4 ingredients for 10 minutes until very creamy. Line bottom of 9 inch square or 7 x 11 inch glass dish with slices of cake. Spread the beaten mixture over the cake. Next spread the pie filling over the creamy mixture. Top the cherry filling with either the whipped cream or the Cool Whip.
