8-12 apples (Delicious), core and peel
1 3/4 c. Burgundy wine
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. red cinnamon candy (sm.)

Mix wine, water, salt and candy and bring to a boil. Drop apples into liquid. Boil until fork tender.
