NICK'S FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf French bread, cut in 3/4 inch slices
6 eggs
4 tbsp. milk or cream
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Whipped butter
Maple syrup

Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg with hand beater. Heat large frying pan on medium heat with 2 teaspoons oil. Dip French bread slices, about 3 at a time, in batter and put in frying pan. Cook on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan and top with whipped butter and syrup. May also be topped with butter and powdered sugar.
