BANANA DROP COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. mashed ripe bananas

Set oven for hot, 400 degrees. Sift together first 3 ingredients. Cream butter. Slowly beat in sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until well mixed. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture alternately with banana, a little at a time; mix until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 1 1/2" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes or until light brown. Remove from sheets at once. Cool on a wire rack. Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
