Banana Cookies - Recipe

BANANA COOKIES

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

FROSTING:

4 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. butter
Powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar, add vanilla and bananas. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees 10 minutes.

Frosting: Boil ingredients 1 minute, remove from heat, add powdered sugar just to thicken, add vanilla.
