GRANOLA 
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. honey
1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1/3 c. water
1/2 tbsp. salt
8 c. rolled oats, quick cooking
1 c. wheat germ
1 c. coconut
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. mixed nuts

Whip together oil, honey, vanilla, water, and salt until well blended. Combine remaining ingredients and add the liquid mixture; mix well. Spread 1/2 inch thick into bottom of shallow baking pans. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes. Stirring every 15 minutes, continue baking until golden brown, approximately 1 1/2 hours. Serve with milk as a cereal or sprinkle over ice cream and custard.
