ED'S FAMOUS BEAN DIP 
1 lg. can refried beans
1 pkg. dry taco seasoning
1 pkg. (mixed) Guacamole dip or already-made
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Toppings

Empty can(s) of refried beans into a bowl. Mix in package of dry taco seasoning (any kind will do; I usually use Lawry). If you want beans spicier, add other hot stuff! Spread beans in an oven-proof baking or serving dish. Bake at about 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Let cool. (Be patient.) Spread layer of guacamole dip. Thickness of layer depends on how decadent you feel (1 to 2 pints). Spread layer of sour cream.

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS (strongly suggested) : Cheddar cheese, green onions, olives, tomatoes, chilies, etc. Refrigerate until time to serve. Open bag of chips and step aside!!
