SUGARLESS APPLE PIE 
6 med. red Delicious apples, peeled & sliced (about 6 c.)
6 oz. frozen apple juice with no sugar, thawed
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-3 tbsp. butter
Double pie crust for 10" pie

Place apples and undiluted juice in large saucepan. Bring to boil, simmer for 5 minutes. Make paste of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water. Gently stir paste into apple mixture. Cover and simmer mixture until thickened, then stir in cinnamon.

Place bottom crust in 10" pie pan. Pour in apple filling and dot with butter. Top with crust and crimp edges. Cut steam vents in top crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for another 45 minutes. Serves 8.
