GERMAN CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
Sprinkle 1 package frozen coconut in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Add 1 cup crushed walnuts or pecans. Mix 1 box German chocolate cake mix as directed on package. Put on top of coconut and nuts.

Whip together 1 large package cream cheese, 1 stick butter, 1 box confectioners sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Put this on top of cake mix and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.

Best cake ever... ummmm... delicious. BUT ugly. Protect the oven bottom... the icing boils over. I have seen this recipe all over, and I still can't help thinking they got it wrong with the icing. Next time I am leaving the icing out, and icing the cake with it after it cooks. You just can't ice uncooked cake batter
