PUFFY GERMAN PANCAKES 
2 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
2/3 c. all purpose flour
2/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Spoon butter into 10" heavy skillet. Place in oven. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in medium size bowl. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into prepared skillet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until edges are deep brown and puffy. Do not peek for first 20 minutes. Cut like a pie. Top with syrup or topping.
