CHINESE B B Q SAUCE 
COATING:

3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Spareribs or chicken

B B Q SAUCE:

3/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. liquid smoke
2 cloves minced garlic

Mix all coating ingredients together. Rub on all sides of meat. Let stand at room temperature 2 hours. Place on grill or in a pan for oven roasting.

Mix all sauce ingredients together in small saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Brush on meat. Grill or oven bake, basting with sauce.
