EASY HOT ROLLS 
4 c. plain flour
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. Crisco
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Sift together dry ingredients. Add melted shortening and buttermilk, add yeast. Stir until mixed thoroughly. Let rise 45 minutes. Punch down and refrigerate. Thirty to 45 minutes before baking time, remove from refrigerator and place on lightly floured board and knead lightly. Roll out, cut and dip in melted butter, fold over and place in a well greased pan. Allow to rise before baking. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
