WHEATY QUICHE 
3/4 c. wheat germ
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. water
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. half and half
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded

Combine first four ingredients in bowl. Cut in butter. Add water. Press firmly into 9 inch pie pan. Prick bottom and sides with fork. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Cool pie shell. Reduce oven to 350 degrees. Saute onions in butter. Arrange on bottom of crust. Beat eggs, half and half, garlic salt and pepper. Pour gently over onion rings. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
