MUSHROOM CHEESE APPETIZER 
2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. cold water
1/4 lb. pork sausage
1/4 c. chopped scallion (white and green parts)

Paprika 3/4 c. mayonnaise 35 med. mushrooms (2 lb.) 2 c. shredded Cheddar (8 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix Bisquick with water until soft dough forms. Beat 20 strokes. Press dough into bottom of pan with floured hands. Cook sausage until brown and drain fat. Mix sausage with scallions and mayonnaise.

Finely chop mushrooms stems and add to sausage. Place mushroom caps in rows on dough. Fill each with sausage mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Cover pan loosely with foil. Bake 20 minutes remove foil. Bake 10 minutes more until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes and cut into pieces. Makes 35 appetizers.
