FRESH BROCCOLI SALAD 
2-3 bunches fresh broccoli, cut & washed well
3-4 carrots, sliced (opt.)
3-4 stalks celery, diced
1 med. onion, diced
3/4 - 1 c. raisins
1/2 c. bacon bits

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise
3/4 - 1 c. sugar
2-3 tbsp. lemon juice

In a large container, put in ingredients in layers, and refrigerate for about 24 hours prior to serving. About an hour before serving, pour dressing mixture over vegetables and refrigerate. Toss dressing and vegetables at serving time. Recipe can be altered to taste. The more fresh ingredients added, increase the dressing.
