CARAMEL CORN 
Popped corn (approximately 1 large roaster full)
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Boil syrup, sugar and butter 5 minutes. Stir in soda. This will foam when stirred so use a large pan. Pour over corn and stir to coat thoroughly. Bake 1 hour at 225 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes. When done take to a cool place and stir until the kernels do not stick together. Makes a rattle sound.
