BROCCOLI CHOWDER 
1 lb. fresh broccoli
1 can (12 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped, cooked ham
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. light cream
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1/8 c. butter

Cook broccoli, covered, in 1/2 can chicken broth in medium kettle for about 7 minutes or until just tender. Remove broccoli from broth; cool and coarsley chop. Add remaining chicken broth in kettle. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients and chopped broccoli. Heat just to serving temperature.
