FRENCH COCONUT PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. corn meal
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. coconut

Melt butter and sugar over low heat, increase heat and boil for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and pour over an unbaked pie shell and bake in a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes, reduce to 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
