SAND TARTS 
1/2 lb. butter
5 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, sugar, and flour. Add vanilla and nuts. Chill and take small amount in hands and roll into pecoon shape.

Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in more powdered sugar.
