SAUCY STEAK SKILLET 
1 lb. beef round steak, cut into serving pieces
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 med. potatoes, diced
1/4 c. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 cube beef bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pt. frozen green beans
1 c. water

Coat beef with flour and pound in. Brown in oil in 10 to 12 inch skillet. Push beef to sides and cook onion till tender. Drain. Mix water, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, salt and pepper; pour into beef and onion. Add green pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until beef is tender (approximately 1 - 1 1/4 hours). Add potatoes and green beans to skillet. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until beans and potatoes are tender (about 15 to 20 minutes).

I have had this recipe for over 35 years and it is a favorite. My recipe (which came in the mail as a recipe card) called for canned whole potato. This is the only time I use them but it would change the taste of this dish if I used anything else. I love this recipe and better yet so does my husband.
