SAUSAGE ROLLS
3 3/4 c. warm milk
3 tbsp. yeast (or 3 pkgs.)
2 tbsp. sugar

Combine yeast and sugar and pour warm milk over it. Let it set for 5 to 10 minutes. Add 3 cups flour and beat well. Let rise for 1/2 hour. Then add:

3 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. softened butter

Beat well and add flour to make a soft dough, probably about 5 cups. Cover dough and let rise in warm place until double in size.

Cut out dough with spoon about the size of an egg. Stretch out dough and wrap around small piece of sausage. (I like to use Little Smokies.) Place rolls on greased cookie sheet and brush with melted butter. Let rise until double again. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with butter again. Makes about 60 to 70 rolls.
