SAUSAGE RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. diced green pepper 1 can mushroom soup 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. bread crumbs Brown sausage in skillet; drain off fat. Add celery, onion, and pepper and cook until tender. Add soup, milk, rice and seasoning. Pour into casserole. Bake covered 30 minutes at 350 degrees, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle the buttered bread crumbs over casserole. Bake uncovered 20 minutes longer. |
