SWEET & SOUR VEGETABLES 
2 strips bacon or more, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
1/3 c. onion, diced
Fresh grains pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar

Partially fry bacon, add onions and fry until done but not brown. Add rest of ingredients. Pour over cooked, drained vegetables. Especially good over green beans or broccoli. Serves 4.
