SMOKED SAUSAGE REUBEN PIE 
1 lb. sauerkraut, rinsed & squeezed dry
2 med. tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
3 tbsp. Thousand Island dressing
1 lb. smoked sausage or beef smoked sausage
8 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
10 crisp rye crackers, crumbled
1/4 tsp. caraway seed
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spread sauerkraut in 9 inch round baking dish. Top with tomato slices and dot with dressing. Cover with sausage pieces, split lengthwise to lay flat. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with mixture of crackers, caraway seed and melted butter. Return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Cut in wedges.
