HAMBURGER-CORN PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 sm. onion, chopped (1/4 c.)
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
20 to 24 pitted ripe olives
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)

Cook and stir hamburger, pork sausage, onion and garlic until meat is brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes (with liquid), corn, olives, chili powder and salt. Heat to boiling. Pour into ungreased baking dish, 9 x 9 x 2 inches or 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches, or 2 quart casserole.

Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs; pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook in 350 degree oven until golden brown, 40-50 minutes. Garnish with parsley sprigs and black olives if desired. Serves 8.
