HAMBURGER-CORN PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 sm. onion, chopped (1/4 c.)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
20-24 pitted ripe olives
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook hamburger, pork sausage, onion, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain. Stir in tomatoes with liquid, corn, olives, chili powder, and salt. Heat to boiling. Pour into ungreased baking dish, 9 x 9 x 2 inch or 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch, or 2 quart casserole dish. Mix cornmeal, milk, and eggs; pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, 40-50 minutes. Garnish with black olives.
