ALMOND - RASPBERRY BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
Raspberry jam

Mix well butter, sugar, and flour. Roll into 4 "logs". Make dent down center of each "log" (fold up sides some if dough is soft). Spread raspberry jam down center of each "log". Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until set; cool.

FROSTING:

Powdered sugar
Water
Almond flavoring

Drizzle with frosting made with powdered sugar, water, and almond flavoring. Cut slices at an angle across log.

NOTE: Good holiday dessert or with coffee.
